CHILDREN'S NATURAL HEALTHCARE Dr. Tim Kuhlman is a homeopathic and naturopathic physician focusing on Children's Natural Healthcare using nutritional, homeopathic and herbal medicines. He helps children from birth through age 18, with any health condition. He typically helps children with problems that are "difficult to diagnose or treat", long-term or frequently reoccurring conditions, or when parents want to minimize or prevent harmful drug affects. Dr. Tim enjoys helping children with behavior, emotional, developmental, and/or learning difficulties. He is particularly keen on helping children with unusual behaviors, whether or not a clear diagnosis has already been made. "I am committed to helping children heal profoundly and safely." Dr. Tim does not replace your pediatrician and is happy to support you and your pediatrician or primary care provider. He will also do phone consultations for long distance patients but you must maintain a relationship with a local physician. NATURAL WELL CHILD VISITS Natural Well Child Visits (no needles, no vaccines) are for children ages 3 years and older to monitor growth and boost immunity from childhood infections, and more. Safety and parenting tips are provided. Learning and reading problems will be addressed for children 5 and older. These visits are not meant to replace the well child care visits from a pediatrician, i.e. if you want vaccinations. Each visit includes a physical exam, as well as charting of weight and height to monitor your child's growth and development. We also chart body mass index to identify and prevent obesity. Parents appreciate the nutritional, herbal and homeopathic medicines that minimize childhood infections, i.e. colds, fevers, coughs, and flus. This preventive care is necessary for your child's wellbeing and to minimize lost school days and lost parent work days. Hearing testing, vision testing, dental checkups, and vaccinations are not part of these visits. |
